Well it was quite a weekend. Nice to have a short working week and an extra day to relax over.
Laura and Campbell were down for the weekend and seemed to have a relaxing time. On Friday morning they collected Poppa from the home and took him into the ANZAC parade at the Convention Centre in Rotorua. Managed to arrive in time to paricipate in the parade even though the wheelchair didnt really help the cause with a wayward footrest. But Campbell and Laura managed and Poppa enjoyed being involved. On the way home he stopped off for a light lunch but the stairs are becoming a major obstacle.

In the afternoon Glenn and I ventured out and bought a new TV for Poppa as in his new room (larger) the 15" tv was lost and I dont think Poppa could actually see it. He is now the proud owner of a 32" LCD screen which is ideal for his location. Thanks to Campbell for during the Mr Mover act and the TV install guy.

Campbell and Laura went into the Rock (mineral not music) shop in Rotorua and I went to the recycling centre. I returned home with a lighter load Laura and Glenn had a heavier load. Dont blame me if Laura becomes a beadaholic. Its all Glenns fault.

A few pics for the shop and Laura and Campbell were away after lunch. Arrived home safely after driving through atrocious weather.
Glenn and I had a zzz and am now ready to take on the next working week.

I guess the clan in the south island will be looking forward to the snow so the dogs can go for runs in it and I am sure after all her 'training' Casey will be into it in a big way.
